The third European online qualifier for MSI BEAT IT 2011 has concluded with Anexis, ESC Gaming, Lions and Moscow Five qualifying for the finals at DreamHack Winter.
Three days worth of matches concluded Friday evening, with four teams qualifying for MSI BEAT IT 2011. ESC Gaming followed shortly after, defeating duttdutt, with a 2-0 score line.
An upset then kicked in, as Anexis managed to defeat Natus Vincere in a 2-1 series, claiming a spot for MSI BEAT IT 2011. Lions was the last team to qualify, with a 2-1 victory over DTS. The bracket was to be played out, but Anexis were unable to play the semi-final against Moscow Five, due to work commitments, which meant the Danes had to forfeit and thereby obtain the lowest seed of the four teams.
